Making a Festive Breakfast Board
I absolutely love creating beautiful food boards—whether it’s a classic cheese platter, a ploughman’s spread, or a spooky-themed snack board. I love bringing them to life with vibrant colours and creative arrangements. With the festive season right around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to share my simple, no-cook festive board idea with you!
There’s no recipe, as it’s all about the assemble. My breakfast board fed 6, and here’s what it included:
8 x croissants (I warmed these up in the oven, but you can have them cold if preferred)
6 x American Pancakes
Smoked Salmon served in a small bowl
Parma ham
Chorizo slices
Cream Cheese
Blueberries
Raspberries
Cranberries
Purple Grapes
Pretzels
Chocolate Gold Coins
Luxury yogurts in glass jars (I simply love Aldi’s dessert yogurts) and got a variety of flavours
Now it’s time to get creative, and have fun assembling them on your board. If like me, you ran out of room, I placed small decorative bowls around the sides and placed the meats and salmon in those. I also gave everyone an individual glass yogurt pot. You can swap in your favourite breakfast items or added treats. This year I might try adding homemade cheese star biscuits!
