Hi, I’m Rose. I’m a freelance Sound Artist, alongside being the Strategic Lead of Shared Reading for a local book festival. I also produce travel vlogs for YouTube, curate bookish content on Instagram/TikTok and eat my way around the UK.
Travel & Food
I live on the edge of the Peak District and create travel and food content for Youtube, TikTok and Instagram. You can expect bookshops, hiking routes, local food and weekend trips on my channel, and I’m also starting a new challenge of working up towards a solo camp in the wild.
Books & Reading
At the end of 2023 I took on a new job, and became the Strategic Lead of Shared Reading for a local book festival. I’ve aways loved books, and really believe in the power of words as tool for connection and bringing people together in the community. I also create bookish content over on Instagram and TikTok, if that’s your jam and you want to check those out.
Radio & Community
I design and deliver radio and multi-media projects for communities. My work is tailored for the community, and I’ve worked in schools, libraries, prisons, hospitals, recovery centres, from a DJ van, allotments… just about anywhere! My work focuses on improving confidence, bringing people together, teaching new skills and giving people the tools to use their voice, tell their stories and feel empowered.
